Service Description
Registration for the Athlete Academy is by invitation only. Please only register if you have been invited by the Coach. The PBO Boxing Academy is designed for athletes aged 11–18 who are serious about amateur boxing. The program prepares participants to compete at regional, national, and international levels. Progression requires dedication, hard work, and a strong commitment to training. The team trains three times a week, focusing on developing boxing skills, improving fitness, and building the mental toughness needed to succeed in the sport

PBO Athlete Academy Terms and Conditions By registering for the PBO Athlete Academy, athletes and parents/guardians agree to the following: Attendance and Commitment: - Attend all training sessions (3 days a week) and events on time. - Notify coaches of absences in advance. Fees: - program annual years fee: $240/year or $60/term (payable at the start of each term). - Trips for Amateur Boxing events outside Christchurch require a $100 fee. - Athletes who don’t fundraise must pay full trip costs. - Uniform and Equipment: - Purchase and wear the PBO team Sports Tee and Polo Tee at all Amateur Boxing events - Open athletes must purchase the PBO Athlete Competition Ring Uniform . -m Maintain proper protective gear (e.g., boxing gloves). Facility and Hygiene: - Respect gym equipment and facilities. - Clean equipment after use. - Notify coaches of any injuries or illnesses. Respect and Conduct: - Show respect to coaches, teammates, officials, and opponents. - Misconduct, including bullying, will not be tolerated. Medical and Social Media: - Provide medical information during registration. - Consent to emergency medical treatment if needed. - Allow photos/videos for academy promotion unless opted out in writing.
